A tavern with a website.

We mentioned this in the other post but that got so inundated with insults and such that I thought I'd start a new post...
If any of you LA shooters want to get together before Flicker on Tuesday, October 30th, I suggest we go to the Red Lion Tavern which is about 5 minutes away from Spaceland (the club that hosts Flicker). Great German beer and food.
I was thinking of around 7:00 pm.
Here is their website which lists directions, etc.:

The overwhelming response to this has me on the edge of my seat. ;]
Anyway, I met with Justin (Konton) Miller last night, the guy who moved from SF to LA and proposed an L.A. Super-8 club on a different post. Very cool guy with top o'the line equipment. (As it turned out, weirdly enough, his apartment in Santa Monica is the same exact unit my sister had two years ago! What are the odds of that happening?!)
So anyway, he's not sure if he can make it due to his work schedule. I can definitely be there and I heard from Germein who said he would as well. So any L.A. or near-L.A. based locals who would be interested in forming a club or just getting together before Flicker starts next Tuesday the 30th, let's meet at the Red Lion at 7:00 on the upstairs back patio. Directions to the place are on a previous post.

Might be kinda difficult. You might be able to sneak in a flask though...
I'm counting on being loaded from the German beer at the Red Lion though. Man, that stuff is toxic...
Spaceland bartenders make good kamikazees though...

.....and start insulting me anew on about my Super-8 filmmaking. (if you are new to the board you won't know the history behind my comment...I'm glad for you)

So tomorrow is the big night, y'all. Anybody know what the parking situation in Silverlake is like?

Yeah, Germein, tomorrow night is the big night!
Parking in Silverlake isn't bad. There is a lot next to Spaceland where you can pay a few bucks or you can usually find street parking, if not on the same block as the club, usually around the back.
If you are going to the Red Lion there is plenty of parking on the street.
Looking forward to seeing you guys there.
